Sadie Giraud was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. In early adulthood, she travelled overseas in search of herself and her soul-mate, only to discover them right back where she started.
Over the years, she has been a freelance writer, editor, graphic artist, and stay-at-home ‘dog mom’, among other (less memorable) jobs.
Eventually, she packed up husband, dog and art easel, migrated to the Midwest, and settled in Chicago, Illinois, where she lives (and illustrates) to this day.
